Tacabanda 2022 100% Ansonica, Poggio Cagnano
From the hills of Maremma Toscana overlooking the Argentario Sea comes Tacabanda, a pure expression of the Ansonica grape. Grown organically at 450 meters above sea level on soils rich in sandstone and galestro, these vines thrive amidst olive trees and oak forests. Hand-harvested and vinified with minimal intervention, the wine reflects the authentic character of its coastal terroir.
On the palate, Tacabanda 2022 is fresh and savory, with delicate notes of citrus and Mediterranean herbs. A brief two-day skin maceration lends texture and gentle structure, while aging on fine lees in concrete and steel adds subtle complexity. The result is an elegant, unfiltered Tuscan white with fine balance, salinity, and a lingering finish — perfect alongside seafood and seasonal vegetables.
