Naogen blends freshly grated ginger from Kochi Prefecture with their traditionally brewed Koikuchi Marudaizu base, producing something lower in salt than conventional soy sauce but far higher in character. The flavour is deep and savoury, with the umami richness the base is known for, followed by a clean, warming ginger finish that brightens rather than dominates. Precise, versatile and very hard to put down.
